The San Remo, 74th Street and Central Park West, was the first of New York’s twin towered apartment buildings. Built in 1929-1931, each ten-story tower is topped with an homage to the Choragic Monument of Lysicrates. All architectural specifics aside, (since it’s not my field) on a bright winter day these edifices just look terrific!
