The News – January 23, 2008

Every Wednesday, bright and early in the morning, I find myself here at Rockefeller Center where there’s always something worthy for the “Photo-a-Day.” This is Isamu Noguchi’s second sculpture, created in 1938. It’s a nine-ton stainless steel bas-relief entitled “News,” which was unveiled above the entrance to the Associated Press building at Rockefeller Center in April 1940.
